The Coordinator will assist Student-Athlete Development staff to develop and implement innovative programs and individualized support services that empower student-athletes to succeed in college and in life. This position will provide individualized and team support to a diverse group of student-athletes including resume development, goal setting, and career planning.
In addition, the Coordinator will manage mentorship programs, which allow student-athletes to make positive contributions to their communities. Responsibilities will include the direction of board meetings, relationship building, service on various committees, and event planning.
The Coordinator is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the Intercollegiate Athletics Department, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University of Oregon, Big Ten Conference, and the NCAA. |

The Oregon Hazards Lab is looking for a Research Data Scientist to join our team. As a member of the Oregon Hazards Laboratory, you will be a critical part of a research group with a mission to use infrastructure, software, and novel technologies to protect all Oregonians from wildfires, earthquakes, floods, landslides, and other environmental hazards. The Research Data Scientist works closely with the Assistant Director of Systems and with external collaborators to advance the project goals that fall under the respective missions of OHAZ project development needs. Additional responsibilities include assisting with network operations, monitoring, and automation. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Systems. Tasks will include ensuring the continued functionality of platforms, developing and deploying new features, and exploring how to evaluate and integrate novel technologies such as third-party AI detection solutions. |
